The Associates of the PSP InterActive Zone
would like you to know the following about this website:
- The PSPIZ
is not owned by any one person. The Associates volunteer their time
to work on the PSPIZ and consider themselves members of the PSPIZ
first and foremost. They work as a team, making decisions on various
aspects of the site to change and improve it. There is no personal
gain derived by any of the Associates, other than the satisfaction
of helping to maintain a web site and to assist people in using
Paint Shop Pro.
- The
Associates utilize a democratic process in resolving all issues
and/or disputes -- these include the overall design of the site, the
components of the site, which sponsorships to accept, the atmosphere
of Roger's PSP Help Forum, dealing with member's requests and
problems, and any unforeseen circumstances or occurrences. When an
issue develops, the Associates immediately discuss the issue in
great detail so as to quickly arrive at an informed decision. The
issue is then put to a consensus vote. This process has been proven
to be extremely successful and while allowing everyone their input,
no one Associate is more influential than another in the final
decision-making process.
- The cost
of maintaining this site (both the server space and the domain name)
is divided equally amongst all the Associates; these donations
currently cover the full cost. Sponsorships from graphics-related
companies are also received in the form of contest prizes.
- The
Associates view their roles as facilitators, not as censors, owners,
leaders, nor oppressors, although the Associates reserve the right
to make decisions and/or changes for the betterment of this site.
However, as mentioned in our User Agreement, we will not tolerate
blatant disregard for the guidelines set forth in the
- We
reserve the right to act on behalf of the majority of the Members
and to maintain this site in the manner set forth in our User
Agreement and in our Mission
Statement.
